Dr. Christina Chapman is originally from Concord, CA and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. She later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude and earning several clinical and leadership awards.
Dr. Chapman's education included clinical experience at the Anadarko Indian Health Center, the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii on-base at Pearl Harbor, where she cared for a broad range of patient populations and ocular conditions.
Dr. Chapman is residency-trained in Cornea and Contact Lenses and Primary Eye Care from the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center and John A. Moran Eye Center. She enjoys fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral and gas-permeable lenses, and is passionate about helping patients with irregular astigmatism and corneal ectatic disorders such as keratoconus achieve improved vision.
