Dr. Ally Tran is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Born and raised in San Jose, California, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, where she graduated as the salutatorian of her class.
During her optometric training, Dr. Tran gained diverse clinical experience through rotations at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Las Vegas, Bay Area Community Health, and a collaborative OD/MD practice. These experiences equipped her with a strong foundation in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions across different patient populations.
Dr. Tran has a special interest in pediatric eye care, particularly in the management of amblyopia and strabismus, and is passionate about improving visual outcomes early in life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tran enjoys trying new restaurants, going on long walks, and making the most of the Bay Area’s food scene and sunny days.
